Type of Appointment: This is a full-time, Career/Career-Conditional, Non-dual-status, permanent position which does not require Georgia National Guard membership. Job Summary: This position is located in the United States Property and Fiscal Officer (USPFO). The purpose of the position is to provide secretarial support and technical and administrative assistance for programs within the United States Property and Fiscal Officer's area of responsibility. The organization serviced is subdivided into subordinate segments, which are supervised through one or more levels of supervision or is of limited complexity where extensive responsibility exists for outside coordination. Participates intensively in the management of the office by applying a good working knowledge of the program under control of the supervisor(s) and relieves the supervisor(s) of clerical and administrative support work. Background Check: Selectee may, at the option of the agency, be required to submit to criminal, credit history, and general background checks which will be evaluated by the agency prior to a final offer of employment and access into the Georgia National Guard Federal Technician or Active Guard/Reserve program.
